What does a laundromat cost in Guelph?

Which washer size do you actually need?
Most people overbuy capacity. A typical week of clothes for one or two people fits a 20 pound machine. Go up to the 25 or 30 pound machines for family-size loads, and save the 50 pounders for the bulky stuff: duvets, mattress protectors, sleeping bags, or a king comforter that has no chance in a home washer. Keeping dryer costs down
Because dryer time is billed in 5 minute increments, small habits save real money. Use the highest spin your wash cycle offers, shake items out before they go in the dryer, and do not overstuff the drum. A well-spun load dries faster and costs less than a soggy one packed to the top.
Do you need quarters? No, and here is why
If you are searching for where to get quarters for laundry, you can skip the bank run. Our machines are card operated. The Laundry Card system lets you load value with bills, credit or debit, and the card starts the washers and dryers directly. No coin slots, no jars of quarters, no asking a cashier for rolls.

Wash and fold vs doing it yourself
Self-serve is the cheapest way to do a lot of laundry at once. But put a number on your time before you decide. Our wash and fold service is $1.99 per pound at the drop-off counter: a typical 15 pound basket costs about $30, comes back washed, dried and folded, and costs you five minutes of dropping it off. Pickup and delivery is $2.49 per pound if you would rather not leave the house at all.
A fair rule of thumb: if laundry day regularly eats two or three hours you do not have, wash and fold pays for itself. If you like doing your own laundry and just need bigger machines, self-serve wins.
